More and more we’re find that secular contemplative practices are being introduced into school systems, and having a positive impact on the behavior and performance of our children. Not all kids have the same opportunities, however, as socio-economic and race shouldn’t but does factor into opportunities for learning, and practicing. Some organizations, however, have taken on the challenge of opening the door of mindfulness for youth at risk, and in need.
